
Artist, cartoonist, and graphic humorist Eduardo Sanabria, a.k.a. EDO, was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1970.
His graphic humor works have been published in the major Venezuelan newspapers, as well as in Venezuela Business News (Washington and New York) and Diario Las Américas in Miami.
EDO has participated in numerous illustration courses and graphic design workshops, and attends cartoon and comics conventions in Panama, Mexico, Argentina, Spain and the United States (Miami, New York, Phoenix,
San Diego, and Las Vegas.
Twice, in 2005 and 2008, EDO won the Pedro León Zapata Award to the best cartoonist in the Venezuelan press from prestigious Venezuelan newspaper El Nacional.
In 2007, he was awarded the Gold Pen Prize as best cartoonist in the 1st Graphic Humor Exhibition during the FIA, the Iberian-American Arts Fair in Caracas.
In 2018, EDO and renowned Venezuelan humorist Laureano Márquez, published Historieta de Venezuela, a humorously serious book that covers the history of the Latin American country from a humor perspective and in cartoon format.
In 2008, EDO began to tread the path
of pop art. His work has been exhibited in Caracas, Milan, Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo, Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, and Miami.
